200-hour Program
In Balance Yoga will begin its next 200-hour yoga teacher training course in May 2010. The training will take place on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:00am - 7:00pm) and includes a full course of study in yoga philosophy, history, literature, postures, breathing, anatomy, lifestyle, and in-depth training in teaching techniques and methodology.  Trainees will learn and be prepared to teach two styles of hatha yoga, Hot Yoga and Vinyasa, with each of these practices including some attention to Restorative Yoga.  The cost is $425 per weekend ($2550 total) or $2400 if participants choose to prepay.  There is a $50 application fee.
